Privacy Policy
This site is operated by Universal Payment Corporation (“Universal”). Your privacy on the Internet is very important to us.
We respect your privacy and want to ensure that any personally identifiable information you have submitted to us remains secure
and confidential. Because we gather certain types of information about our users, you should fully understand the terms and
conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This Privacy Policy discloses what information we gather and how
we use it.
What Information We Collect
Universal gathers the following information about users:
- Information that you provide to us through our Site, including but not limited to purchase and payment information.
- Information we gather through tracking your use of our Site, derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our Site.
This information allows us to better tailor our content to visitors' needs, to improve our products and services and to
provide you with information about our products and services.
Children
Our Site is not intended for or designed to attract children under the age of 13. Consistent with the Federal Children's Online
Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we do not knowingly request or collect personally identifiable information from anyone
under the age of 13 without obtaining parental consent.
How We Gather User Information
We gather information from you in order to provide you with products and services you request. This information includes your name,
address, payment, payment card and shipping information.
We also may use third party vendors and service providers and other third
parties to assist us in providing products and services to you (collectively “Third Party Providers”). When you use our Site,
these Third Party Providers may also receive your personal information.
Usage Tracking
Universal tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about
individual users. We do break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type and operating system
by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site users prefer based on traffic to those areas. We do not track
what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better Web site for you.
Our Third Party Providers who assist us with providing you with products or services on our Site may also collect usage data from you.
California’s Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), as amended, requires us to disclose how we respond to “do not track” requests,
signals and other similar mechanisms. Currently, our policy is that we do not recognize “do not track” requests and signals from Internet
browsers and similar devices. Universal is not in the business of tracking users for the purpose of building behavioral profiles of
visitors to our site, and our use of your personal information is strictly limited to the uses described in this Privacy Policy. A
visitor to our site delivering a “do not track” request or signal will be treated no differently than a visitor to our site not
delivering a “do not track” request or signal. Please see the “Use of Information” section below to understand how this policy may
affect you.
Cookies
We may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. We use cookies and similar technologies to track
user traffic patterns (as described above). Our advertising system delivers a one-time cookie to better track ad impressions and
click rates. The cookie itself does not contain personal information, although it will enable us to relate your use of our site to
information that you have specifically and knowingly provided to us. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information
you supply yourself. The cookie cannot read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you have set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you
will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use our site. However, you will need
to accept cookies to participate actively in newsletter registration and information requests.
Some of our web pages and electronic communications may contain electronic images known as web beacons (sometimes referred to as
“clear gifs”). Web beacons collect only limited information that includes a cookie number, time and date of a page view, and a
description of the page on which the web beacon resides. We may also carry web beacons placed by third party advertisers. These web
beacons are used to track usage of the Website and activities associated with our site.
Our Third Party Providers may also use cookies or web beacons.
We or a trusted Third Party Provider may assign you a unique internal identifier to help keep track of your future visits. We use
this information to gather aggregate demographic information about our visitors, and we use it to personalize the information you
see on our site and some of the electronic communications you receive from us. This information is used internally and is not shared
with others.
Use of Information
We and our Third Party Providers may use any information voluntarily given by our users to provide you with the products and services
you request, to enhance your experience on our Site, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the Site or to better
prepare future content based on the interests of our users, and to market products and services to you.
We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site users visit most frequently, and we create aggregate reports on user
demographics and traffic patterns to tailor our site to visitors' needs. We may share personal information with a third party for the
following purposes:
- We may share personal information that you voluntarily provide with third parties who perform services to us or on our behalf.
However, these Third Party Providers are obligated to keep your personal information secure and confidential.
- We will share a user's personal information when it is required to comply with an applicable law or valid legal process, or
to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. For example, we may disclose such information in response to a
subpoena, to enforce this Privacy Policy, to respond to claims that any materials, documents, images, graphics, logos, designs,
audio, video and any other information provided from or on our site violates the rights of third parties, and/or to protect
the rights, property or personal safety of Universal, its partners or users, or the public.
We reserve the right to transfer information in connection with the sale or other disposition of all or part of Universal's business
and/or assets. Furthermore, we cannot and will not be responsible for any breach of security by any third parties or for any actions
of any third parties that receive any of the information that is disclosed to us.
